Craigie's Farm Deli & Café is a busy, family-run farm business just outside Edinburgh. We're passionate about quality local produce and providing excellent customer service in our farm shop, café and butcher counter.
We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Butcher Assistant to join our team on a part-time seasonal basis. No previous butchery experience or qualifications are required – we'll provide full training. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is keen to learn new skills, and thrives in a busy environment.
About the Role
As a Butcher Assistant, you'll support our butchery team with the day-to-day running of the counter, helping to ensure it is well stocked, clean, and welcoming for our customers.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting the butchery team with preparing and displaying products.
- Serving customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable service.
- Replenishing stock and keeping displays looking their best.
- Helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
- Packaging and labelling products.
- Supporting the team with general daily tasks as required.
Full training will be provided, so no previous experience is necessary.

Pay: £24,420.00-£40,887.49 per year
