Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Working Painting & Decorating Supervisor with SSSTS certification to lead and oversee painting and decorating projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining health and safety compliance on site. And also carry out an element of being on the tools.
Aiding support when there are new starters on site, delegation of work schedules monitoring of project completion, quality control , attending progress/ client meetings and recording all the information including RAMS & H & S on tablets/ software.
Requirements
- SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential
- Proven management and supervising experience within the painting and decorating industry
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Ability to lead by example, motivate teams, and ensure high standards of workmanship
- Knowledge of current health & safety regulations relevant to construction sites
- A proactive approach with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
