About the Role
1TRY LTD is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, fault finding, inspection, and testing across a range of commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of current electrical regulations and proven experience in electrical testing and certification.
Some assembly work will also be required where needed alongside this electrician role.
Site work will be required occasionally - IE. new product installs
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations in accordance with current regulations and company standards.
- Perform inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Complete electrical maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Ensure all work complies with the latest BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Produce accurate test results, reports, and certification documentation.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a high standard of health and safety on all sites.
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395, or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification.
- Proven experience in electrical testing, inspection, and fault finding.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and safe working practices.
- Ability to complete certification and compliance paperwork accurately.

Salary
£40,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus overtime opportunities.
Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
