Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated FOH (Front of House) Team Members to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing friendly service, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. A passion for excellent customer service and a positive attitude are key to thriving in this role.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required, adhering to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and optimise sales opportunities
- Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene standards
- Contribute positively to team dynamics by demonstrating flexibility and cooperation
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales
- Excellent communication skills with a professional attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
