Salary: NJC Grade D: £26,824 - £28,598 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)
Please note that the pro-rata salary for this role is between £11,422 (D8) and £12,177 (D12) gross per annum (subject to change depending on agreed working pattern on appointment)
Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 17.5 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (Monday to Friday)
The Park Community School are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Supervisor to join our school community. This role is essential in helping us maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
About the Role
As Cleaning Supervisor, you will lead and supervise the cleaning function across the school site, ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene. The role ensures effective deployment, performance management, and development of the cleaning team (12 people) to meet operational and compliance standards.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
Has experience in cleaning within workplaces such as schools, hospitals or leisure centres (desirable but not essential)
Has supervisor experience
Works well as part of a team and shows initiative
Demonstrates confidentiality and supports the ethos of the school
