Job Title: HGV Class 2 Skip & RoRo Hooklift Driver

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Skip & RoRo Hooklift Driver to join our growing team based in the Cumbernauld / Glasgow area. This role involves the delivery, exchange, and collection of skips and RoRo containers across domestic and commercial sites, ensuring high standards of safety and customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) skip and hooklift (RoRo) vehicle
- Deliver and collect skips and RoRo containers to/from customer locations
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with transport regulations and company procedures
- Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and waste transfer documentation
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous skip and/or RoRo hooklift experience preferred, but not essential (training can be provided)
- Good knowledge of the Glasgow and surrounding areas
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
