We are looking for a dependable and hardworking 3.5T Delivery Driver (Luton Van) to join our team. Based from our warehouse in Beckton, you will deliver food products to customers across London while ensuring excellent service and safe handling of goods.
This is a physically active role involving both driving and manual handling. As our Luton vans do not have tail lifts, you will be responsible for loading and unloading deliveries by hand.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5T Luton van and other company vehicles.
- Deliver food products to retail stores and customer locations across London.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any issues.
- Follow planned delivery routes and schedules.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service.
- Comply with UK road traffic laws and company health and safety procedures.
- Assist with warehouse duties when required.
Requirements
- Full UK Category B driving licence.
- Experience driving a 3.5T Luton van or similar commercial vehicle preferred.
- Clean driving record.
- Physically fit and capable of manual lifting and unloading throughout the day.
- Reliable, punctual and well organised.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
