About the Role
We are seeking a Secondary Teacher / Cover Supervisor to work within secondary school settings, delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment. These roles offer flexibility, with full-time or part-time hours available, and both short-term and long-term assignments. Positions are initially temporary, with the opportunity to progress into permanent roles.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced educators, qualified teachers, or graduates with secondary school experience who are looking for flexible work with long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons (short term) across a range of secondary subjects, or specialist subjects
- Planning lessons (long term)
- Maintain classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support students to remain engaged and on task
- Manage the classroom effectively in the absence of the class teacher
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leadership
- Uphold safeguarding and school standards at all times
Requirements
- A Degree and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience working within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different subjects, year groups, and school environments
- A professional, reliable, and flexible approach to work
