We are a family run commercial grounds maintenance company are looking to recruit a site operative to work on a full time permanent basis. Based at their depot in Catterall.
Applicants will be required to service commercial grounds maintenance contracts with a range of different tasks.
Applicants will need to show willingness and pride in their work. They also need to be capable of working on their own initiative under the supervision of a Team Leader. A grounds maintenance operative will carry out scheduled works within a team on a variety sites in and around the Lancashire area, to required quality standards.
Duties include:
- Grass cutting and Lawn maintenance
- Landscape Maintenance
- Hedge, Shrub and Small Tree Pruning
- Planting and Maintenance of Flowers, Trees, Shrubs and Beds
- Litter picking
- Application of herbicides, fungicides or insecticides
- Winter services – gritting and snow clearance
- River Vegetation
A full clean driving licence would be needed and a DBS will have to be carried out.
The hours are full time Monday to Friday, however there is regular overtime offered.
