About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced and motivated Supervisors to join a busy and growing logistics operation. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career within a fast-paced warehouse, transport, and distribution environment.
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and service standards are maintained while supporting the wider management team in achieving operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support operational staff throughout the shift.
- Ensure daily workloads are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Monitor employee performance and provide guidance and support where required.
- Assist with staff training, onboarding, and induction processes.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with transport, warehouse, and administration teams.
- Conduct shift handovers and communicate key operational updates.
- Monitor productivity levels and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Support management in achieving operational targets and KPIs.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics, transport, or distribution environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and operational systems.
- Reliable, professional, and proactive approach to work.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns when required.
