Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in accordance with food safety standards.
- Take customer orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Restock supplies as needed, including cups, lids, condiments, and ingredients.
- Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as toasties when required.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and friendliness.
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for cash handling and order processing.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.

Pay: £12.21-£16.71 per hour
