Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Duties
- Assisting with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and turf care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Supporting excavation activities using machinery such as excavators
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution
- Performing general construction tasks including site preparation and material handling
- Conducting routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assisting with garden design projects and horticultural tasks as required
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised at all times
- Supporting team members with various labouring duties across multiple sites
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators is advantageous
- Ability to undertake physical labour including lifting, digging, and operating machinery safely
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and general maintenance practices
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in construction, gardening, and maintenance tasks
- Valid personal identification demonstrating eligibility to work in the UK

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
