I&S Transport LTD is a family-owned haulage business that operates throughout the UK. We take pride in our team and are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper driver to come on board at our Middleton operating centre as part of our ongoing growth.
We welcome applications from LTD drivers. The position comes with an assigned vehicle, a five-day working week, and four nights out, all carried out in full compliance with UK regulations. Drivers with up to 6 points on their licence are welcome to apply.
Drivers will earn £200 per day, plus a night-out allowance of £25. Wages are paid on a weekly basis, and we supply fuel cards as well as secure parking at the site.
The fleet consists of modern automatic trucks equipped with microwaves, a fridge, and inverters providing standard plug sockets, ideal for keeping your devices charged while away. The work is mainly general haulage, with occasional light unloading duties.
To be considered, you will need:
- A valid UK C+E licence
- Driver CPC
- Digital Tacho card
- At least two years of HGV Class 1 experience
- At least one year of tramping experience
- A professional approach to communication
- Consistent and reliable attendance
