Care Coordinator - Northfield Team
Nationwide Care Services was founded 20 years ago and from our network of branches we provide support to vulnerable people in their own homes across the Midlands. Last year we delivered over 2 million care calls to support our clients independence.
We are currently seeking an Experienced Care Coordinator to join the our Northfield Branch Branch.
The main purpose of the the role is to supervise the quality of care delivery within the service through a diligent approach to review of service delivery in line with regulatory standards.
To maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may, from time-to-time, be required to maintain practices as up to date.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, although some on-call support may be required.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Job:
The Care Coordinator’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
To supervise staff and ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service
To organise and coordinate care delivery in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager and within the financial plans.
Ensure that the care service is delivered to service users at the times and for the duration specified in the relevant individual agreement(s) and contract standards
Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
Work with our rostering systems in a manner which ensures safe practices and continuity of care
Ensure Care workers and Seniors have regular working patterns and that holidays are managed effectively.
Work with Group Trainers to ensure that training is up to date for all staff and that staff are booked in for refresher training as necessary.

Pay: £26,436.80-£27,500.00 per year
