Homecare Assistant - Short Visit Team

Job Summary:
As a Home Care Assistant in the Short Visit Team, you will deliver high-quality, time-sensitive care and support to individuals in their own homes. Your role is to promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing through short, focused visits that meet each client’s assessed needs. These are walking runs, so there is no requirement for a driving license or vehicle. Working during school hours will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
- Support with medication administration and monitoring
- Prepare light meals and assist with hydration and nutrition
- Offer companionship and emotional support during short visits
- Record accurate notes and report concerns promptly
- Travel promptly between visits within designated areas
- Work flexibly to cover early mornings, Afternoons, evenings, and weekends as required
Requirements:
✅Full UK driving licence (Essential)
✅Access to Own Vehicle (Essential)
✅ Valid MOT & Insurance (Essential)
✅Have experience in a care setting (Essential)
✅Be of a caring and kind nature
✅Be willing to learn and develop
Pay Rates:
- Weekdays - £12.90 per hour
- Weekends - £13.10 per hour
- Bank Holidays - £18.75 per hour
- Travel Time - £12.21
