We are seeking a Facilities weekend Assistant to join the Information Services Facilities team, supporting operations across the Main Library, Staff Hub, and other study space hubs within the University. This is a student experience-focused role, with a key responsibility for ensuring that study and learning environments are safe, welcoming, well-maintained, and conducive to academic success. You will play an important role in enhancing the student experience by supporting the operation of these spaces, responding to issues promptly, and helping to create an environment where students can study, collaborate, and access services effectively. You will also support staff and visitors using these facilities. Work at alternative locations and overtime opportunities may arise to meet business needs. You will work closely with the wider Facilities Assistant team, with opportunities for skill sharing and development. The post is directly managed by the Facilities Weekend Supervisor. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct and visible contribution to the student experience across some of the University's busiest and most important study spaces.
