DCS Recruitment Require Dry Riser Engineers
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 - Depending On Experience
Our client, a leading passive fire protection contractor, is looking to recruit A Dry Riser Engineer to work in and around London. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with some experience in the fire protection industry who are looking to further develop their skills and build a long-term career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the installation of dry riser systems in new and existing buildings
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections of dry riser systems
- Supporting annual testing and pressure testing of dry risers in line with fire safety standards
- Identifying faults and assisting with repairs and replacements
- Ensuring work is completed in line with relevant fire safety regulations and industry standards
- Completing service reports, test certificates, and associated job documentation
- Communicating professionally with clients, building managers, and site teams
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition
Requirements
- Some experience working with dry riser systems, fire protection systems, plumbing, mechanical services, or a similar industry
- Basic understanding of fire safety compliance and dry riser systems
- Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
