About Us
We’re Datum Attitude Brewing Co — an independent, modern craft brewery with a passion for great beer, good times, and welcoming everyone who walks through our taproom doors. Our beers are inspired by aviation as our founder and head brewer is ex Royal Air Force. Our taproom is the heart of our brewery, where people and families come to enjoy freshly brewed beer, street food, occasional live music, and above all, great company.
In addition to our Maldon based Taproom we have a Mobile Taproom which attends external events, mainly locally, but from time to time further afield. From Airshows, weddings and food and drink festivals, we attend many pop-ups and events throughout the Spring and Summer.
The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and beer-loving person to join our Taproom & Events Team. The successful applicant will be the face of the brewery — helping set up and pack down at Events, serving our beers, chatting with customers, and creating a warm, memorable experience for every guest.
What You’ll Do
- Serve our beers with pride and enthusiasm, representing the brewery at all times.
- Help customers discover and enjoy beer styles they’ll love.
- Handle retail sales in our shop/at events, including merchandise, gifts, and take-home beers.
- Learn about our brewing process and beer range, becoming a knowledgeable and confident voice for the brewery.
- Liaise with musicians and performers on music nights to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Take our beers on the road — serving at pop-ups, festivals, and off-site events from our mobile bar.
- Keep the taproom clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times, including end-of-shift cleaning duties.
- Manage event and table bookings, ensuring guests have the best experience possible.
About You

- You’re outgoing, friendly, and love chatting to people.
- You have a genuine interest in craft beer and are eager to learn more.
- You’re organised and can juggle a few things at once in a busy environment.
- You’re happy to muck in with cleaning, restocking, and setting up for events.
- You must be able to work between Thursday and Sunday each week, the hours cover weekends and evenings, and you may need to travel for off-site events.
- We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our small team who will give 100% and who wants to work at one of the South East's best craft breweries.
