Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete installations accurately.
- Ensure all work adheres to current electrical codes and safety standards.
- Use hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters for various tasks.
- Operate power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople or team members to complete projects on time
Experience
- Proven experience working as an Electrician in a similar environment is essential.
- Demonstrable knowledge of electrical systems, wiring practices, and safety procedures.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools utilised in electrical work.
- Experience reading technical drawings, schematics, or blueprints is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications such as a recognised Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent are required.
- Prior experience working on diverse projects will be considered an advantage.
