We’re a friendly, family-run Preschool & Out of School Club looking for a qualified childcare professional to join our amazing team.
What we’re looking for:
- Brilliant with children aged 2-11 years
- Positive, caring and enthusiastic
- Ready to grow and develop within the role
This is an exciting opportunity with potential to progress into managing our Out of School Setting, alongside supporting in Preschool.
35 hours per week over 4 days
Between 7:30am - 6:30pm
Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Billericay based

Duties
- Plan, organise, and supervise engaging activities tailored to children's developmental stages
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages learning and socialisation
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Manage daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and play periods
- Assist in organising educational resources and maintaining a clean, organised setting
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Demonstrable management or leadership experience within childcare environments
- Knowledge of child development milestones and appropriate educational activities
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
