Mortgage & Protection Adviser
£35,000 – £37,500 per annum + bonus | 35 hours per week
An established and growing financial services firm is expanding and is seeking to appoint an ambitious and client-focused Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join its advisory team.
This opportunity would suit an experienced adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships, delivering high-quality advice, and working within a professional, compliant, and supportive environment.
The Role
The Mortgage & Protection Adviser will provide informed, tailored advice on mortgage and protection solutions, ensuring clients receive guidance that meets their individual needs and circumstances. The role requires a blend of technical knowledge, relationship management, and a strong commitment to compliance and service excellence.
CeMAP qualification required, with the ability to provide mortgage advice and a minimum of two years' experience as a mortgage broker in mortgages and protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships to support ongoing business flow
- Providing mortgage and protection advice aligned to individual client circumstances
- Preparing technical recommendations and professional client presentations
- Running and managing client meetings from initial fact-find through to completion
- Producing accurate meeting notes and compliant documentation
- Generating new mortgage and protection business to meet agreed targets
- Working closely with the Technical Manager to ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met
- Ensuring all client requirements are followed through to a successful conclusion
- Undertaking continuous professional development to meet regulatory and personal development needs
Role Requirements
- The role will involve regular travel to client meetings, with occasional work outside standard office hours
- The adviser is expected to remain up to date with industry, legislative, and regulatory changes affecting clients and the business
