At Walnut Care At Home, we welcome people who are new to care and support them properly from day one. We have limited places left on our June Cohort. People just like you have applied and bagged a slot so give us a call.
We’ve been caring for our local community since 2003, and we believe carers thrive when they are trained, mentored, and genuinely supported.

We’ll teach you the rest – at a steady, supported pace.
Pay & practical details
- £13 per hour (contact time)
- 31p per mile mileage
- Additional payments for rural and isolated visits
- Local work in East Lindsey
- Rotas planned over 6 weeks
- No minimum hours (with opportunity to build up)
Training & support (this is where we’re different)
- 2 days initial training, then you start earning
- Care Certificate completed over 6 months
- 3 hours paid training every fortnight
- Supported by a dedicated in‑house assessor
- A named mentor for your first 4–6 weeks
- Gradual build‑up of responsibilities
- Senior support available 7am–7pm
- Admin support available until 10pm
You are never thrown in at the deep end.

Driving & travel
- Driving is not essential
- Walking and cycling rounds are available
- Please note: non‑driving roles may limit available hours
- Driving offers greater flexibility due to the rural nature of East Lindsey
