We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth daily operations
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold high standards of hospitality
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient team
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
- Implement promotional activities and optimise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production, culinary standards, and menu development
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is highly desirable
- Experience in serving, barista work, or hotel operations is advantageous
- Leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills
- Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen experience is essential
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
