Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning environments and possess a keen eye for detail. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust designated areas regularly
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when working in client premises
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning machinery is advantageous
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring quality standards are consistently met
Pay: £12.21-£17.73 per hour
