About the role:
The Cleaning Team Supervisor at Regency is responsible for overseeing and coordinating cleaning operations across assigned sites. This role ensures that cleaning services meet high hygiene and quality standards while complying with health and safety regulations. Reporting to the Cleaning Team Manager, the Cleaning Team Supervisor leads a team of Cleaners, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellent service delivery. This role involves travel and may be based away from our main office sites.
The postholder may be required to undertake alternative tasks from time to time as requested by their manager.
Essential Qualifications or Experience:
· Proven experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or facilities management environment.
· Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, COSHH regulations, and health & safety practices.
· Ability to lead and motivate a team of Cleaners.
· Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Qualifications or Experience:
· BICSc qualification or equivalent.
· Experience working across multiple sites.
· Knowledge of sustainability and environmental initiatives in cleaning services.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervising and coordinating a team of Cleaners across designated sites.
· Ensuring cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Keep on top of scheduled works including periodicals
· Implementing cleaning schedules and ensuring adherence to timeframes.
· Monitoring stock levels of cleaning supplies and ensuring proper usage.
· Conducting site inspections and audits to maintain quality control.
· Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
· Providing training and guidance to Cleaners to ensure high performance.
· Addressing and resolving cleaning-related issues or complaints.
· Ensuring time and attendance systems are accurate and up to date to ensure accurate scheduling and pay.
· Liaising with site managers and stakeholders to ensure cleaning services meet business needs.
· Attending to any other tasks and responsibilities from time-to-time as requested by your line manager.
