We're looking for a practical, reliable Property & Maintenance Operative to help keep our pubs and hostels looking their best.
This is a varied, hands-on role that's perfect for someone who enjoys fixing things and takes pride in a job well done. Whether you're looking to fit work around other commitments, ease into retirement, or simply want a part-time role where every day is different, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out general maintenance and repairs across our pubs and hostels
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating and general DIY
- Responding to maintenance requests from our management teams
- Completing planned preventative maintenance
- Working alongside contractors when specialist work is required
- Helping to maintain safe, welcoming environments for our teams and guests
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in general property maintenance or a similar role
- Is confident turning their hand to a wide range of repairs
- Can work independently and manage their own workload
- Has a positive, can-do attitude
- Takes pride in high standards and attention to detail
