Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Hebburn Day Care Centre to work with Adults with Learning Disabilities. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the well-being of patients, and supporting their recovery process. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive nursing services in a variety of healthcare settings.
Duties
- Assess and monitor patients’ health status, including vital signs and medical history.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Participate in continuous professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Experience

- Current, clean, full car driving licence (preferred but not essential)
- A good positive role model for service users and colleagues
- DBS clearance
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for patient care and commitment to improving health outcomes for individuals in your care.
