Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments
- Provide high-quality patient care, including explaining procedures and post-treatment advice
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with practice protocols and data protection regulations
- Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment to the highest standards
- Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, recall systems, and stock management
- Uphold strict hygiene, health, and safety standards within the practice
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and suppliers using excellent organisational skills
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or similar role within a dental practice or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of patient care protocols and dental procedures
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practices for record keeping and scheduling
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Demonstrable organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a professional attitude at all times
