Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional and complex needs? We are recruiting a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor to work within a specialist SEN school supporting pupils with complex needs and PMLD.
This is a highly rewarding role where your support will make a direct and meaningful difference every single day.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs and PMLD
- Support students with autism, ADHD, physical disabilities, and medical needs
- Implement personalised behaviour and care plans
- Use positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Assist with personal care where required
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with complex needs, PMLD, or challenging behaviour
- Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Physically and emotionally resilient
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Background in care, SEN, youth work, or support work (desirable)
