Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued while enjoying their meals. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and management to maintain high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to restaurant standards.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with food safety practices by ensuring proper handling and storage of food items.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or concerns, providing excellent guest services at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any issues that may arise during service.
- Perform basic maths calculations for billing purposes, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential
- Previous Bar exprience is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- A passion for culinary arts and knowledge of menu items is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest services.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
