Hoylake Cottage specialises in 24 hour General nursing and Dementia nursing care. The Home is registered with CQC achieving a rating of Good in its last inspection.
We are offering a full time contract, 36 hours per week, for an NMC Registered RMN Nurse for work in a very well established charitable organisation. We offer a very competitive rate of £22.66 per hour. Due to the nature of this role we will be unable to support a newly qualified nurse requiring preceptorship therefore experience is essential. Job share may be considered. RMNs with limited elderly and Dementia experience may be considered.
Preferably, Applicants will have experience with older people and in particular people with a diagnosis of Dementia to provide direct support on our Dementia Unit as well as some clinical support to RGNs on our other two general nursing units. We also provide end of life care to people with the diagnosis as well as support to their carers & loved ones.
Main duties will include, assessment, planning delivery and evaluation of individualised nursing care, supervision of Health Care Assistants on shift, maintaining accurate records, providing mental health guidance and advice to RGNs and education to HCAs based on sound research and current best practice, administering prescribed medicines and maintaining the necessary records as per Hoylake Cottage guidelines.
Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, health declaration, background references and confirmation of entry on the live NMC register.
