About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible and available to work as required to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our wedding venue.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the venue is presented to an exceptional standard before, during and after events.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean all public areas, function rooms, toilets, kitchens and staff areas.
- Carry out pre-event, post-event and routine cleaning.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Vacuum, mop. dust and sanitise all designated areas.
- Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage to management
- Vacuuming, mopping and sanitising all commercial spaces.
- Follow Health and Safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.
- Supporting the overall presentation of the premises to ensure a professional environment.
- Ensure the venue is clean, safe and welcoming for guests at all times.
The Ideal Candidate will
- Have previous experience in commercial cleaning.
- Be trustworthy, honest and able to maintain complete confidentiality.
- Have exceptional attention to detail and take genuine pride in their work.
- Be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Be organised, reliable and punctual.
- Have a positive, friendly and professional attitude.
- Be physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle (preferred).
- Enhanced or Standard DBS certificate ( or willingness to obtain one)

Pay: £12.80-£17.50 per hour

- Blackburn BB2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
