Clock House - Gainsborough is looking for an experienced Chef to join our team.
We are just undergoing an exciting rebrand and refurbishment to bring a bigger steak focused operation to our offering.
Daytimes will see a modern lighter bites style offering and we would like to bring in a new head chef to lead the way.
Your job role will include cooking some lighter bite dishes in the daytime and assisting the Front of House team with service,
And full food kicthen based cooking for our steak house in the evenings and weekends.
(The restaurant closes Mondays and you are also guaranteed Christmas Day off)
Naturally, the nature of our industry means weekends and evenings are part of the job, but we do offer some flexibility for occasional weekend shifts off to allow a good work life balance.
We are looking for a Chef with a real level of care for the job, the food served and a great team player.
You will have the freedom to assist develop our menus and ideas and the support of our very own butcher (we own a butchers shop).
Previous experience in the industry is essential for this role
Progression opportunities up to Sous Chef could be available for this role in time, and for the right candidate with hard work and dedication to the job.
There will be shifts when you are working alone so confidence is paramount.
