We’re excited to be opening our newest Coop Micro Bar – So Brew in Shirley and are looking for passionate and experienced bar staff to join our team from day one.

About the Role
As part of our team, you’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere while serving our carefully curated range of craft beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails. You’ll play an important role in ensuring every guest receives a memorable experience and that our products are served to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver friendly and professional customer service.
* Prepare and serve craft beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails to a high standard.
* Advise customers and confidently talk about our beer and drinks range.
* Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation.
* Operate tills and handle payments.
* Assist with stock rotation and cellar management.
* Ensure all licensing, hygiene, and health & safety procedures are followed.
* Work closely with the team to create a fantastic atmosphere for our customers.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Previous bar experience.
* A passion for hospitality and customer service.
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Reliability and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Desirable
* Experience making and serving cocktails.
* Knowledge and enthusiasm for craft beer.
* Understanding of cellar management, line cleaning, stock rotation, and maintaining beer quality.
* Experience working with cask and keg products.
* A willingness to learn and develop within a growing independent business.
