Service Advisor
Position: Full-Time Permanent
Location: Chesham
Salary: £29k - £33k
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 12:00pm (1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota basis)
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join the team at Priests Ford in Chesham.
As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Acting as the link between our customers and workshop team, you will ensure that servicing and repair work is managed efficiently and communicated clearly throughout the customer journey.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising customers on suitable servicing, maintenance and repair requirements
- Booking and managing service and repair appointments
- Liaising closely with technicians and workshop staff
- Providing customers with regular progress updates on their vehicles
- Managing service reminders and customer follow-up communications
- Ensuring all customer enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently
About You
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment.
Previous motor trade experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided by our experienced team.
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Be confident communicating with customers and colleagues at all levels
- Be well organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Be comfortable using computer systems and software
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
