The position would require:
- Personal Care
- Ability to travel to Harrow
- Epilepsy training (with buccal midazolam) from within the last 12 months
- Manual handling training from within the last 12 months
- Experience with challenging behaviour
- Experience with people with physical and learning disabilities- such as PMLD, ASD, Down's Syndrome, Global development delay and/or cerebral palsy.
The Ideal Candidate would have:
- Experience with the visually impaired
- A background as a carer or support worker for people with learning disabilities.
- Experience with PEG feeding and dysphagia
- Experience assisting wheelchair users
- Experience with non-verbal/limited speech and use of Makaton's and PEC's.
