About the role:
We are looking for a temporary laundry operative to join our team. The role involves a range of physical and hands-on duties, including:
- Loading & unloading commercial washing machines
- Feeding linen through a commercial roller iron
- Folding, stacking and preparing a range of laundry (bed linen, towels, workwear etc.)
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the work area
- Following our health and safety procedures
Our requirements:
- Good level of physical fitness - the role involves standing for long periods of time, lifting and repetitive motion
- Ability to work as a team, as well as independently
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Punctual and dependable
Duration:
- Temporary summer staff needed from late June until late September
Working hours & availability:
- Flexible Shift Patterns: Shift times fall anywhere between 6:00AM and 6:00PM. Please note these are not fixed, set hours but the daily operational window within which you may be scheduled.
- Weekend Availability: Regular weekend work is required as part of your schedule.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an unpaid 2-hour on-site trial as part of our selection process. This will give you a clear insight into the daily routine and to ensure the role is the right fit for you.
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
