For more than six decades, Ronnie Scott’s has been at the centre of London’s jazz scene. Famous worldwide, the club is where the great and the good of jazz - and its rising stars - meet the city’s most passionate audiences.
Founded in 1959 by saxophonists Ronnie Scott and Pete King, Ronnie's was the first UK club to host American jazz musicians regularly. From Miles Davis, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and Chet Baker to Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Anderson Paak, Jorja Smith and Raye, some of the world’s greatest artists have played on our stage.
The front of house department is the face of the club. It is the first point of contact for all guests and sets the tone for the entire experience. With the recent opening of our ‘Upstairs at Ronnies’, We’re on the hunt for experienced FOH team members to bolster our team even further. Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and greeting members and ticketholders in a warm and personable manner
- Build genuine relationships with our members, guests, team members and performing artists
- Greet and accommodate the artists booked each evening - We’re a venue for the artists as much as we are our guests
- Sell and record necessary details for on the door tickets
- Manage guest and members reservations and special requests
- Cash handling for floor
- Cloakroom management
- Supporting a smooth transition between shows
About you:
- Organised with an eye for detail
- Smart and professional appearance always
- Confident in interacting with members, other team members and artists in a live music environment
- Confident in handling guest feedback effectively and empathetically
- Passionate about the arts
- Confident, comfortable and discrete when looking after high profile guests
