JOB TITLE: Cleaner
REPORTING TO: General Manager / Bar Manager
JOB PURPOSE:
HOURS OF WORK: 6am - 11am Various days. (6-30Hrs)
Main Purpose of Job
Woolton Golf Club is seeking an additional cleaner who is reliable and detail-oriented to maintain exceptionally high standards of cleanliness throughout the clubhouse and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, ensuring a welcoming, hygienic, and well-presented environment for members, guests, and staff at all times. Working alongside our current cleaner covering holidays and days off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening of The Clubhouse from 6 am.
- Clean and maintain all areas of the clubhouse, including lounges, bar areas, dining areas, changing rooms, toilets, offices, and corridors
- Clean and maintain surrounding external areas, entrances, patios, and immediate outdoor spaces as required
- Ensure all areas meet high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation
- Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks efficiently and thoroughly
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with COSHH regulations
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns promptly
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and inform management when reordering is required
- Work discreetly and professionally around members, guests, and hospitality staff
- Moving Chairs and Tables and setting up function rooms
Standards & Attention to Detail:
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all cleaning tasks
- Consistently uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Take pride in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment
Experience & Skills Required:
- Previous cleaning/caretaking experience in a hospitality, leisure, or similar environment preferred
- Knowledge and practical experience of COSHH regulations are essential
- Experience working within a hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures
Working Hours:
- Hours to be discussed (may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 40 per week

- Liverpool L25 7TZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- cleaning / Caretaking: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

- Driving Licence (preferred)
