Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner/Carpenter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various wooden and other material structures. Duties
- Fabricate and assemble bespoke wooden components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
- Install joinery elements such as doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures according to project specifications.
- Carry out heavy lifting of materials safely and efficiently on-site.s.
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise execution of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry or joinery within the construction or renovation sectors.
- Skilled in fabrication and assembly of timber or other materials using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, as well as power tools including drills, saws, and sanders.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during demanding physical tasks.
- Familiarity with construction painting processes and joinery techniques.
- Experience working on diverse projects such as residential buildings, commercial properties or specialised installations is preferred.
