We require an experienced chef to join our team assisting the Head chef in preparing and cooking meals from a varied menu, we specialise in steaks..seafood.. traditional British classics ...street food and Asian influences! a little bit of everything!
We are a friendly pub which creates great food and great cocktails, we have a great customer base and people travel from far to get to us.. We would like a great team player who dishes out the best food and takes pride in it.. This job is for 4 days a week.
You will be confident in cooking steaks and seafood..enjoy creating dishes that the Head chef has assigned and if you like something a little different then this might be for you..
The rota is done fairly and allows for good time off.
We are a busy kitchen with a hardworking team... all chefs must have experience of a busy pub background.
Rota is done upto 2 weeks in advance ....Overtime is available if requested
We close the pub on Christmas eve and day to spend it with our families but will be required to work Boxing Day & New Years.
You will be required to work under the Head Chef and the Second Chef
Taking in deliveries.
Preparing and cooking from the menu.
Keeping the kitchen area.. fridges.. cooking equipment clean and ready to cook.
Fill in temperatures and cooking logs.
