Summary
The Governors of Ryelands Primary and Nursery School are looking to recruit an Early years apprentice to work in our Nursery. You will work as part of our team under the direction of the Nursery Team Leader. Your main role is to support children in achieving their very best.
The successful applicant will:
- Join a very successful team of staff.
- Work closely with the Early Years team to plan and deliver high quality learning experiences for the children.
- Support children in their learning through play and individual next steps.
- Be confident, sensitive, reliable and enthusiastic.
- Be able to communicate effectively with children, colleagues and parents.
- Be working to the relevant apprenticeship standard/framework and completing work in a timely manner.
To the accountabilities above, the apprentice may be required to undertake any of the duties normally associated with a Teaching Assistant to support with their training and development. As part of this role the successful candidate will be expected to work towards completing the apprenticeship framework Level 3.
This is a 2 year apprentice contract.
