We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our bank staff at our care home. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs, including assisting with daily activities and personal hygiene.
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Monitor residents’ health status, recognising changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly to the relevant healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review personalised care plans.
- Uphold infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families, fostering a caring and respectful atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification with valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Proven experience in patient care, preferably within a care home or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medication administration procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism when engaging with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts as required by the organisation’s staffing needs.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice in all aspects of care delivery.
