Company Overview
Rose & Rose is a well-established, highly regarded law firm based in Kingston Upon Thames. Our property department continues to grow, driven by consistent client demand and an excellent reputation for quality and service. As a result, we are now looking to welcome an additional Property Solicitor to join our friendly, collaborative team in Kingston.
This is an opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys high-quality work, values long-term client relationships, and wants to be part of a firm that combines technical excellence with a genuinely supportive, down-to-earth culture.
The Role
You will manage a varied and engaging caseload spanning both residential and commercial property matters. The work includes, but is not limited to:
- Residential freehold and leasehold transactions
- Deeds of variation and shared ownership matters
- Landlord and tenant work, including lease renewals
- Buying and selling commercial premises
- Granting and negotiating new commercial leases, including shops, offices and retail units
You will have the autonomy to run matters from instruction through to completion, with the support of an experienced and approachable property team. The role offers real breadth, making it ideal for a solicitor who enjoys variety and wants to further develop their expertise across both residential and commercial property law.
While the firm generates a strong flow of work, we are keen to appoint someone with a commercial mindset who enjoys building relationships and contributing to the growth of the department. This includes developing links with agents, brokers and other introducers, as well as taking a thoughtful approach to service delivery, fees and client care.
The firm uses LEAP as its case management system. Experience with LEAP is helpful but not essential.
About you
- A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in property law
- Experience in residential conveyancing, with exposure to commercial property work
- Confident in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Commercially aware and comfortable developing professional relationships
- Approachable, enthusiastic and collaborative in your working style
- Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing firm
