We are working with a lovely and welcoming primary school in Colne that is seeking to appoint two enthusiastic teachers to join their team for the full academic year. We have vacancies available in both KS1 and KS2, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Job Description:
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess, monitor and record pupils’ progress effectively.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external professionals.
- Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ personal development.
- Participate fully in school life, including staff meetings, training and school events.
- Maintain high expectations of achievement and behaviour for all pupils.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching children within a primary school setting.
- A valid Enhanced DBS for the Child Workforce registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Ability to reliably commute to Colne.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
Desirable:
- Experience teaching within KS1 or KS2.
- Experience planning and delivering lessons across a range of abilities.
- Knowledge of current safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Experience supporting children with additional learning needs.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- ECT status with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
