Apprentice Dental Nurse, no experience required, for a private practice in Leeds. The surgery is equipped with state of the art facilities and has a team of long standing staff. We are looking to expand our work family and feel this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in dentistry.
Full training will be given to work towards gaining a Level 3 NVQ in Dental Nursing. Following qualification you will be registered with the General Dental Council.
The successful candidate will need excellent communication skills, be able to work to protocols and policies, with full training provided to ensure they have a good understanding of cross infection control, decontamination processes (HTM 0105), setting up/down the surgeries, assisting the dentist with treatments, stock control, etc.
Reception is the heart of any dental practice and the right person will need to embrace this aspect of the role to welcome patients, deal with patient equiries via telephone/email/messaging, take payments etc.
Full support will be given with all practical and theoretical aspects of the apprenticeship.
It is important to be presentable, punctual, a team player and always work with patients interests in mind at all times.
There is a quarterly bonus scheme for attenance, punctuality and work effort. This is additional to the basic salary.
