JD Owen Transport Services are a family owned and operated business established over 60 years ago and due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting reliable and professional class 1 tramper drivers to join our transport team based from our site in Afonwen, Mold.
The Role
- Tramping work with Monday to Friday operation.
- Occasional Sunday afternoon starts when required.
- Occasional Saturday running-in.
- Delivering excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all driving regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to Working Time Directive and Drivers' Hours regulations.

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time regulations
- Professional attitude with strong reliability and communication skills
- Previous tramping experience preferred but not essential
