We install premium systems for homeowners and businesses who want the job done properly — not the cheapest or fastest. Our Project Manager coordinates your schedule, and we give you clear checklists and a simple system to complete your on-site paperwork - the photos, serial numbers and records that can only be captured at the property - quickly and right first time.
Role Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels on pitched and flat roofs (tile, slate, metal) — in-roof and on-roof systems - using Van der Valk and other mounting kit
- Carry out site surveys and produce detailed survey reports
- Perform DC cable runs in conduit, ready for the electricians
- Work safely at height using ladders and scaffolding
- Provide basic panel positioning layouts where required
- Capture clear pre- and post-installation photos
- Complete all on-site paperwork accurately using our checklists and system -recording equipment serial numbers (panels, inverter, battery), as-installed system and layout details, and the site and commissioning photos that can only be captured at the property
- Keep every site tidy, safe and hazard-free at all times
- Work to UK building regulations and MCS standard throughout
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years' hands-on solar PV installation experience (installation and DC cable routing)
- Confident with various mounting systems including Van der Valk and other roofing tools
- Experience on pitched and flat roofs (tile, slate, metal), in-roof and on-roof systems
- Able to carry out site surveys and produce detailed survey reports
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at height
- Full UK driving licence and your own van or suitable work vehicle
- Knowledge of UK safety and building regulations
- CSCS card preferred (not essential)
- Organised and reliable with site documentation — comfortable following a checklist and capturing accurate records, serial numbers and photos on site
- Seeking full-time employment and willing to travel (up to 100 miles, with occasional Midlands / South West projects)
