Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Structural Steel Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to structural steel components, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces of structural steel by cleaning, sanding, or applying primers as necessary.
- Apply paint, coatings, or finishes to steel structures using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications.
- Operate relevant tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting, particularly with structural steel is preferred.
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation between sites.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction painting activities.
