Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our small team in creating high-quality finishes for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for painting and a keen eye for detail. The role will be completing work on social housing and across various MOD sites and must be confident in liaising directly with clients when on-site.
Skills:
- Proficient in English language
- Own van and tools
- Strong painting skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
- IT Proficient to update our scheduling app
- 5 years experience minimum
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing using appropriate methods and tools.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other protective or decorative finishes to a variety of surfaces.
- Mix, match, and blend paints and finishes to achieve the desired color, texture, and consistency.
- Use brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to apply coatings in accordance with project requirements.
- Ensure all repair and finishing work meets quality standards and client specifications.
- Follow all relevant health and safety regulations at all times and maintain a valid CSCS Card.
- All applicants will be required to complete BPSS Security Vetting.
Jobs will be price work however, day rate is £170 per day when required. Paint will be provided.
